Close Out One Season Before Starting the Next

Before moving into a new season, take a few minutes to finish the small tasks left behind by the last one. Clean and put away the cooler, return borrowed items, wash the beach towels, or gather the outdoor toys. Making “closing out” part of every seasonal transition prevents unfinished tasks from piling up and helps you begin what’s next with less clutter — both around your home and in your head.

Update your family’s morning and evening checklists today. Having everyone’s routines written down makes busy days run more smoothly and takes a few things off your mental load.
