Hi friends! I’m Lindsey, and I’m so excited to take you behind the scenes of what I do as Director of Content Marketing here at Simplified. Social media may look like pretty pictures and quick captions on your feed, but behind every post is a whole lot of planning, collaboration, and strategy. The team thought it would be fun to share my role, my journey with Simplified, and a peek at my everyday routine working from home.

How Social Media Actually Happens
Our marketing process is a true team effort, and I love that no day is ever the same. Everything begins with Liz, our Director of Marketing, who maps out the overall marketing plan—what launches are coming up, what campaigns we need to highlight, and what stories we want to tell that month. From there, it’s my job to fill in the social media plan: the themes, the graphics, the reels, and the captions that will bring our marketing strategy to life online.
